Welcome to The Good App. By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using any mobile/web feature, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and for all activity under your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep your profile up to date.
The Good App is designed to share positive, community-oriented, and verified news content. Users may browse, publish, comment, and interact according to the current product features.
You agree not to publish unlawful, harmful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, fraudulent, or misleading content. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
You retain ownership of your original content. By publishing on the platform, you grant The Good App a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and process that content to operate and improve the service.
When you grant permission, the app may use your device location (GPS latitude/longitude) to provide nearby content experiences (for example, the Near section). You can update or disable location sharing from app settings.
For security and abuse prevention, we may store technical access metadata (such as connection IP and login timestamps).
We aim for continuous service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be modified, suspended, or removed as part of product improvements, maintenance, security, or legal requirements.
We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in abuse, fraud, repeated policy violations, or conduct that puts users or the platform at risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Good App is not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.
We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Material updates may be announced through the app or official channels. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the revised terms.
The Good App is a space for positive, constructive, and respectful conversation around news and communities. We encourage content that informs, inspires, and supports others.
Not allowed includes, without limitation: hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, sexual content involving minors, illegal activity, spam or scams, impersonation, malware, and deliberate misinformation intended to harm. We may remove content and take action on accounts that breach these rules or applicable law.
We use a combination of automated checks (including optional third-party AI moderation when configured) and human review by administrators. Users can report news articles, comments, and communities from within the app; reports are reviewed against these guidelines.
You can permanently delete your account from the Profile screen in the app. Deletion removes your profile and associated personal content from our servers as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to limited retention where the law requires (for example, billing or security records).
