This Privacy Policy explains how The Good App collects, uses, stores, and deletes personal data when you use our mobile applications and related services.
We may process: account identifiers (name, email), profile fields you choose to provide, content you publish (news, comments, community data), device location when you grant permission (for nearby content), technical metadata (such as IP address and login timestamps for security), and purchase-related identifiers when you subscribe (processed according to Apple and Google policies).
We use data to operate the service, personalize content, improve safety (including moderation and abuse prevention), comply with law, and communicate with you about the product.
We do not sell your personal data. We may use subprocessors (for example cloud hosting, email delivery, or optional AI moderation APIs) strictly to provide the service. When you use social sign-in (Google or Apple), authentication is handled by the respective provider under their terms.
We retain data as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the service. You may permanently delete your account from the in-app Profile screen; we will delete associated personal data from our primary databases, except where limited retention is required by law or for legitimate security/fraud-prevention purposes.
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data. Account deletion in the app is the primary way to erase your profile and user-generated content from our systems.
The service is not directed at children under the age required by applicable law to consent without parental permission. Do not register if you do not meet the minimum age.
Where data is processed in countries other than your own, we apply appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
For privacy requests, contact the project administrators through official The Good App channels.
